Optimisation.
A component with defined
service loads can be optimised
to reduce mass or stress, or
to increase stiffness. Manufacturing
constraints can be incorporated
into the optimisation.
Computational
Fluid Dynamics. (CFD)
This discipline enables us to
simulate, visualize and analyse
compressible or incompressible
air or fluid flow phenomena,
heat and mass transfer, and
chemical reactions through a
modelled domain. The problems
can be steady state, eg, air
flow through air conditioning
ducting, or require more complex
dynamic analysis, eg, where
moving parts interact with the
flow as in a turbo-charger.
